Mother's Day present

I got a lovely Mother's Day present. I have got a swiss wood heart with a flower from the garden. Isn't it lovely? The swiss wood smells wonderful. I love hearts and this is perfect to put a seasonal flower in it! I also had a perfect golf round with my DH yesterday, so you see I have spent a great Mother's Day :-)

...to Enjoy the Simple Things in Life

Yesterday I couldn't stop till the model stitching on my new sampler design was finished.

And today I want to share with you the first picture.

The sampler has a stitch count from 110x132 and is primary stitched with Gentle Art Sampler Threads on 32 count raw linen.

The saying is stitched one over one. I really have enjoyed the stitching and designing and I hope you will enjoy it also. It should be available soon at your LNS.

In my Stitching Basket...

Over the weekend I almost have finished the model stitching on my new sampler design "Take Time". So may I show you a little preview of my new sampler.

It's a small sampler primary stitched with Gentle Art Sampler Threads and I have enjoyed the stitching with these "spring colors". Now framing - taking pictures - AND the sampler should be realized withing the next two weeks.

Happy Valentin's Day and a wonderful weekend to all my stitching friends! Thank you for visiting my blog!

This is my DH's Teddy and he's more than fifty years old and usually he is sitting near my bed in our bedroom and takes care of me. Today he was decorated with a gingerbread heart, isn't he cut?? What a nice surprise!

As promised I will let you know about my work at least once a month!

I'm working on a new tradtional sampler since last year. It's a big sampler so the model stitching will take some time. I really love to work on this sampler because my daughters have told me that they love this design and the colors I have used in it. Usually they don't take care very much about my stitching, so that's something special and this sampler surely will be published in 2011.

But anyway I wanted to finish something different, so I have finished the drawíng on a new small sampler and will work on the model stitching the next days. Hopefully it will be finished soon and hopefully you will like it. - The working titel is "Take Time" and I love working on it!
